Tester, Fuel Hose Assemblies, 0-2300 psi
P/N 9201, NSN 4940-01-359-7624, 9201A (shown)
The purpose of
this equipment is to provide a source of high pressure for proof testing hoses after
assembly. The hose tester is an air-to-fluid booster which uses shop air at pressures up
to 100 psi to deliver fluid from its self contained tank at pressures up to 2300 psi. The
discharge pressure is regulated by controlling the inlet pressure at the unit by means of
its regulator. The discharge pressure will be increased in the ratio of 23 to 1 over the
inlet air pressure. The unit is completely self contained and is supplied with
adapters of various types and sizes to accommodate the fuel hoses normally encountered in
aircraft maintenance. These include both cam-lock type and NPSH type fittings.
Additional optional adapters are available. The unit is designed for use with potable
water or PD-680 solvent. The brushed stainless steel reservoir has a usable capacity of 3
gallons with an allowance for fluid expansion. Integral shelves are provided as
part of the reservoir
assembly for storage of hose connection adapters. The unit weighs 39 lbs without fluid or
adapters and may be easily transported. To configure a unit to meet your
specific requirements, please proceed to the Customization
